Hi Sheri
>From what I can see on rootsweb [
http://www.rootsweb.com/~nscumber/cemetery/index.html ] there are Campbells
in several of the cemeteries I will be visiting. I will certainly keep an
eye out for James Campbell for you. One more name on my list won't make a
huge difference! lol!
According to NSHVS [
https://www.novascotiagenealogy.com/ ] there was a
James Campbell that died 15 February 1870 in West Chester Cumberland County.
He was a farmer, married (no spousal name given), 67 years of age at death,
born in Scotland. He died of heart disease. The informant was a John
Campbell. That is the only Campbell listed in Cumberland County near the
year you quote. If this is not your g.g. grandfather, can you tell me where
he lived or any other pertinent information that could help track him down?
FYI I will also be visiting a few cemeteries in Colchester County in the
Five Islands and Economy area. Is there is any possibility he could be
there?
Have a great day!
Ruth
