COVE, George W.

HEAD OF AMHERST - George W. Cove, 73, of Head of Amherst, died Wednesday at home. Born in Head of Amherst, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cove. He is survived by his wife, the former Marion Chapman; five daughters, Barbara (Mrs. Worden Smith), Albuquerque, New Mexico; Edith (Mrs. Merdon Wood), Linden; Eunice (Mrs. Albert Cormier), Amherst; Myra (Mrs. Kenneth Cotter), Germany; and Grace (Mrs. Dennis Cook), Amherst; two sons, Earle, Exshaw, Alta.; and Edward, at home; a foster daughter, Holly (Mrs. Gerald Baker), Head of Amherst; a sister, Gladys (Mrs. William Brown), Lower Cove; a brother, John, Dorchester, Ont.; 24 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. The body is at Furlong's Funeral Home, Amherst. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in Head of Amherst United Church with Rev. Boyd Butt officiating. Burial will be in the Head of Amherst cemetery.
