I believe you are correct Russell it was an emulsion. If my Mother and Father are reading this they can confirm.
My memory is less favorable about the taste.
Sounds like in Cape Breton you had to walk 2 miles uphill, both ways, to and from school.
I listened to my children grumble and reacted accordingly. Well when I was a boy...etc etc etc.
