HIRTLE (nee Ripley) (formerly Bacon), Marjorie Lenora

HIRTLE, Marjorie Lenora - 90, Annapolis Royal, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2006, in Annapolis Royal Nursing Home, Annapolis Royal. Born in Nappan, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Eva (Smith) Ripley. Marjorie was a member of the Neighborly Club in Deep Brook and was an avid quilter and card player and loved sewing, cooking and being a homemaker. She is survived by sons, Merlyn (Helen White) Bacon, Barrie, Ont.; Allister (Helen) Hirtle, Clementsport; and Roger (Heather) Hirtle, Wilmot; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Ralph Bacon, and second husband, Harold Hirtle; son, Stanley; infant son, Hilton; daughter, Velma; sisters, Lela, Amy, Ina, Thelma; brothers, Archie, Milledge, Vernon, William, Earl, Raymond, Gordon, and Victor. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. today in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in Deep Brook Baptist Church, Rev. Randy Legassie officiating.
