MILLS, Douglas H.
MILLS, Douglas H. - 76, East Mapleton, Cumberland Co., passed away Saturday,
May 13, 2006, in Cumberland Regional Health Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in
Economy, he was the son of the late Oliver and Alma (Knight) Mills. He
served with the Canadian Army for many years as a paratrooper. Following his
military service, he was a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of
Legion Branch No. 17, Springhill, and a member of Mapleton United Church. He
is survived by his stepson, Frederick Meyers (Lisa), Parrsboro;
half-sisters, Vonnie Mills, Springhill; Myrna Bell, Onslow; half-brothers,
Ronald Mills, Parrsboro; Leslie Mills, Golding, B.C.; Robert Mills, South
Brook; Wilfred Mills, Sackville, N.B.; Lloyd Mills, East Mapleton; several
stepgrandchildren and step great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his
wife, Clementine; stepmother, Marguerite (Moore) Mills; half-sister, Cecelia
Marie. Funeral service 2 p.m. today in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev.
Mark Pretty officiating. Burial in the Economy Cemetery. Memorial donations

MILLS, Clementine "Tiny" - 74, Parrsboro and Mapleton, passed away Friday,
June 25, 2004, in George L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born in Parrsboro, she
was a daughter of the late Richard and Sarah (Henwood) Willigar. She is
survived by her husband, Douglas; son, Frederick Meyers (Lisa), Parrsboro;
four grandsons; three great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren. She was
predeceased by daughter, Mary Lou; son, Corey Lee; sisters, Clara, Hazel,
Mary, Sally; brothers, Levetter, Merle, Benjamin, Bernard, Corey, Edward,
John. Funeral service will take place 11 a.m. Tuesday in Smith's Funeral
Home, Parrsboro, Rev. Mark Pretty officiating. Burial in Parrsboro Roads
Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Kidney Foundation of Canada,
