SIMPSON, Lawrence Joseph "Larry" - 81, Springhill, died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in Huntingdon, Que., he was a son of the late Joseph and Annie (Dear) Simpson. Larry was in the Canadian Army from 1942 to 1946. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 17, Springhill, and a member of Pioneer Heritage Club, Oxford. He is survived by his wife, the former Clara Campbell; son, Larry Simpson, Manitoba; stepson, Odiel N. Demeester, Philippines; brother, Herbert, Montreal; grandsons, Joey and Lawrence; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Marion Crowley, Cecilia Mattinson, Perry, Loenilia, Isidro, Mila and Conchita; neighbours, Reg and Lillian. He was predeceased by wives, Pauline and Ann. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Mundle's Funeral Home, Pugwash (243-2506).
