FORREST, Brian Keith - 52, Truro, passed away surrounded by his loving family on April 1, 2006, in Colchester Regional Hospital. Born in Oxford, he was a son of Hazel Laura (Carde) Forrest of Truro and the late James Howard Forrest. Brian was employed for many years at Co-op Atlantic, and had many friends from all walks of life. He enjoyed fishing and biking at the cottage where he spent his summers. His love of family, unique sense of humour, and generosity will be greatly missed. Besides his mother, Brian is survived by his wife, Judy A. (Black) Forrest; his son, Bradley Keith Forrest (Andrea), Halifax; his daughters, Tasha Lin "Tia" K. Harrold (Morgan), St. John's, N.L.; Heidi Ruth Anne Forrest (Jason Budge), Summerside, P.E.I.; his sisters, Dorothy Dempsey (Donald), Herring Cove; Mina Brown (Mac), Camillo, Calif., Margie Langille (Herman), Truro; Janet LeClair, Moncton, N.B.; his brother, Fred Forrest (Eileen), Lansdowne Station; grandchildren, Dustin Brian James Budge, Taylor Gail Forrest, Ainsley Jade Forrest and Kaylee Kassandra Harrold. Besides his father, Brian was predeceased by his brothers, Douglas, Gerald, and James; his sisters, Georgie Forrest and Elsie Hayward; and his brother-in-law, James LeClair. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m.; the memorial service will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Frank Melanson officiating, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. Interment will be held in Birch Grove Cemetery, Oxford.
