BURGIN, J. Arthur

Burgin, J. Arthur died peacefully at All Saints Hospital, Springhill, N.S., on Friday, April 22, 2005 in his 99th year. He was a longtime Service Manager of Tantramar Motors in Amherst and also was a member of the Trinity-St. Stephen?s United Church. Devoted and loving husband of the late Vivian (nee DeWolfe). Beloved brother of Dorothy Sloat of Port Elgin, N.B., and the late Harry, Kathleen Blacklock and Gordon. Brother-in-law of Bruce Blacklock and the late Elsie and Lottie Burgin and Jack Sloat. Uncle of George and Harold Burgin; Rae, Thomas and the late Bob Blacklock; Marion (Vijh) and John Burgin. Step grandfather of Ian, Don and Kenneth MacKenzie and their families, all of B.C. There will be no visitation. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at 2 p.m. from Campbell?s Funeral Home Chapel, 98 Church St., Amherst (902-667-9906), with the Rev. Susan Estabrooks officiating. Interment in the Amherst Cemetery, followed by a reception in the funeral home.
