Hospital on Friday evening of Mrs. Emma DAWSON, wife of Mr. John
Dawson. The deceased was fifty-eight years of age and although she had
been stricken with pneumonia a short time ago her death came as a shock
to members of the family and friends. She was a woman of kindly

harbor some years ago. One brother, residing in Montreal also survives
and was summoned to Springhill on the death of his sister. Many friends
gathered at the home Sunday afternoon to attend the funeral service
conducted by Rev. W. M. Knickle, with the Church Choir rendering
favorite hymns of the deceased. Interment was made in Hillside Cemetery.
