Cumberland County Census.
If David Merriam Pettis' mother is Mrs. J.H. Cullen, then that's probably
her.

ADAMS, Margaret A. - Parrsboro, died August 31, 2000. Born February 6, 1923,
in Parrsboro to the late David and Helen (Spencer) Pettis. She is survived
by sons, Robert (Judy), Saskatoon, Sask.; Gary (Hilda), Parrsboro; Kelly
(Sharon), Bedford; daughters, Shawn Klien (Merve), London, Ont.; Ann Keddy
(Robert), Hammonds Plains; Margaret Murray (Colin), Fredericton, N.B.;
sister, Mary Johnson, Ottawa; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert and brother, Donald Pettis.
Margaret spent most of her life in Parrsboro and was well-known for her
artistic talents in many media as well as her love for gardening. The family
wishes to express their appreciation to the doctors, nurses and friends who
supported her during these past months. Cremation has taken place. There
will be no service as per Margaret's request. Friends and family will gather
in the home of Gary Adams, 2 p.m. Sunday, September 3. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

to locate obits. on them.
