YORKE, Constance V. - 88, Wharton, Cumberland Co. died Thursday, February 14, 2002, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII, Halifax. Born in Apple River, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Canning) Field. She is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Pridy and her husband, Don, Bedford; grandchildren, Stacey Pridy, Bedford; Jeff and his companion, Kerri Church, Calgary; Colin, Bedford. She was predeceased by her husband, Layton R. Yorke; son, Harlan; sisters, Effie, Hattie, Florence, Mildred, Sylvia, Vivian, Nettie; brothers, Everett, Stephen, Percy, Hartford, Gordon, Cecil. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Rev. James Bushell officiating. Burial in Parrsboro United Cemetery.
