For anyone who finds a photo, in this set, of someone
you are interested in don't forget you can try looking
up the Regimental number that appears on the photograph
at the National Archives.
For instance, for the listing:
715322 C.Q.M.S. F. H. White, Amherst, NS on the first
photo, look up the regimental number, 715322 at:
http://www.collectionscanada.ca/archivianet/02010602_e.html
No need to enter the name, the number alone will do.
In this example you'll get a clickable icon before the
name which will lead you to the individual's attestation
papers. These can provide a date of birth and lots of
other interesting information.
