Hi, Ephraim McLELLAN was born 1829 in Salem, Cumberland County, Nova
Scotia. I have verification of him on a marriage license in 1896. I have
seen him on census for 1861. His father was to have been SAMUEL McLELLAN,
son of PETER MCLELLAN of IRELAND . I could be out a generation here I
think.Ephraim is my 2xgreatgrandfather. The census list children as MARY E.,
JANET , HANNAH, BOTSFORD, SARAH, ANNE,, ELLOR, JOHN PINEO, CHARLES JUDSON,
FORA AUGUSTA, BLAIR, ROBERT. I believe that Ephraim was a shoe maker and may
have moved on to Colchester County, I sent three weeks at the NS Archives
but couldn't find out anymore then this. ( it was quite the humourous thing
with the staff but even they couldn't find him.likewise I have no idea when
he died or where buried).
