KEITH, Margaret "Rose" - 64, Hopewell Hill, passed away February 5, 2005, in Moncton City Hospital with her loving husband by her side. Rose was born in Amherst on June 30, 1940, the daughter of the late Leigh and Margaret Smith. She was a registered nurse who graduated from the Moncton Hospital School of Nursing in 1961. She worked up until the time she lost her sight in 1980. She married the love of her life, David, in 1965. Rose was a member of the Riverside-Albert Baptist Church and also a member of the Harvey Baptist Women's Missionary Society. When she was able, she enjoyed needlepoint and was an avid gardener. She was a beloved wife and mother and will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by her devoted and caring husband, Rev. David Keith, Hopewell Hill; her loving daughter, Lynn Blake (Todd), Lake Echo; sister, Hattie Smith, Sackville; aunt, Evelyn Smith, Amherst; and will also be sadly missed by several cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by an infant sister. She will be resting in Albert County Funeral Home with visitation today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, February 8, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jack Allen officiating. Interment will be held in Steeves Settlement Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date. Donations to Riverside-Albert Baptist Church, Canadian Institute for the Blind, Canadian Diabetes Association or to SPCA would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in the care of Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape (506-734-2780).
