BROWN lines of Cumberland County
RE: the three BROWN lines of Cumberland County. I have heard mention of 3-4
different Cumberland county lines and from several sources but for the life
of me I'm no further ahead in understanding about these various lines. Would
you share a description of the three lines and the origins of the three ?
So far I collected up heads of families below. Pls. help, I don't know
what to do with all them now ! <SMILE>):
Esther Clark WRIGHT's "Planters & Pioneers" many, many of BROWN but I
believe the most likely origins for Cumberland County BROWN are:

moved to Hillsborough, d. smallpox 1776
leaving 8 children (Cumberland Co. just across the bay)
2) 1768 - Sackville Township - Joseph BROWN s/o William BROWN of Providence
R.I. m. 15 Nov 1773 Rachel ROUNDS,
d. 1805 Children: Abigail, Elizabeth, Joseph.
