LANDRY, Pauline Mary Alice - 84, Amherst, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2005, in Gables Lodge, Amherst, formerly of 36 Central Ave. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Lucy (Porter) Baird. Pauline was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Women's League. She enjoyed her summers at her Port Howe cottage. Pauline loved spending time with her family, especially with her sisters who were always ready to share a good laugh. She enjoyed games, crafts, knitting and dominoes. Pauline will be dearly missed. Pauline is survived by sons, David (Barb), British Columbia; Paul (Elizabeth), Amherst; daughter, Mary Lou Landry (Janet), Nanaimo, B.C.; sisters, Jean Chapman and Barb (Russell) Clarke, both of Amherst; Helen Ripley, Pugwash; grandchildren, Greg Landry, Dorchester; Matthew Landry, Tidnish; Mike Landry, Dartmouth; Cory Landry, Calgary; Melissa Comeau, Amherst; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert W.; son, Robert F.; grandson, James. Cremation has taken place. Her family will receive visitors in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 18, at 10 a.m. in St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, Amherst. Interment will take place at a later date in St. Charles-Nativity Cemetery, Amherst.
