I read your letter and was surprised when you mentioned a place called Leroy. That is Mahoney's Corner in West Wentworth (Cumb. Co.) but all your people are born in Spencer's Island. Wonder what brought them to Wentworth and they left a place behind that was named after them and one family named Mahoney(with a son named William) . Another mystery maybe.
