OBITUARY

MURPHY, Michael P. - 88, Margaree Valley, died Thursday in the Inverness
Consolidated Memorial Hospital. Born in Margaree Valley, he was a son
of the late Michael A. and Rebecca (Coady) Murphy. He was a member of
St. Patrick's Church, North East Margaree. He is survived by three
daughters, Isabel (Mrs. John Holitski), Melville, Sask.; Rebecca (Mrs.
Roddie MacDougall), Toronto; Linda Gallant, Lower Sackville; four sons,
Michael, Dunvegan; Angus, Toronto; Harry, St. John's, Nfld.; Archie,
Margaree Valley; a sister, Mary Hannigan, North East Margaree; 24
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was
predeceased by his wife, the former Willena Chisholm; two brothers,
John, Alex; and a grandson. The body will be in Patrick's Room, St.
Patrick's Parish, North East Margaree, after 7 p.m. today. Wake hours
will be in St. Patrick's Parish, 7-9 p.m. today, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 pm.
Saturday. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Patrick's Church, North
East Margaree, Rev. Bernie MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in the
parish cemetery.
