OBITUARY
HIMELMAN, Gerald Arthur - 66, Dartmouth, died Saturday at Veterans
Memorial Building, Camp Hill Hospital, Halifax. Born in Dartmouth, he
was the son of the late William and Nellie (Williams) Himelman He was a
veteran of the 2nd Independent Armoured Brigade, serving overseas in
Holland Beliguim and France during the Second World War. He was a former
employee of Camp Hill, Shearwater, Naval Armoured Depot and Halifax
Dockyard. He is survived by one daughter, Jean (Mrs. Donald Day),
Waverly; one son, Gerald, OStrea Lake; two sisters, Anita (Mrs. Wallace
Wile) and Shirley (Mrs. L.F. Graham), both of Dartmouth; two brothers,
Donald and Everett, both of Dartmouth; and four grandchildren. He was
predeceased by one sister, Doris. the body is at A.L. Mattatall Funeral
Home, Portland St, Dartmouth, with visiting 2-4 p.m. today. Funeral
service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 3 p.m., Rev. Arthur
Nash officiating. Burial will be in Christ Church Cemetery. Family
flowers only. Donations may be made to St. John's Anglican Church, Waverly.
