OBIT - DAUPHINEE, Jessie Elizabeth, June 1989


DAUPHINEE, Jessie Elizabeth - 65, Glen Haven, died Saturday at home.
Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Bridget
Drysdale. She was a school teacher for 34 years with the Halifax County
- Bedford District School Board. She was also secretary-treasurer of
St. Paul's Church, French Village, for 20 years. She is survived by her
husband, Willis; a son, David, Glen Haven; two daughters, Linda (Mrs.
Paul Heale), St. John's, Nfld.; Nancy (Mrs. Charlie Robson), Glen Haven;
a brother, Frank, Halifax; three sisters, Eileen, Halifax; Gladys,
Amherst; Marge, Edmonton; seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by a
brother, Ben; a sister, Ellen. The body will be cremated. Memorial
service will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Paul's Church, French Village,
Father M. Langille officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be
made to St. Paul's Church, French Village, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
